Creamy Honey Exfoliating Scrub

I’m so so sad to put this review up. I love a lot of this companies products so I was surprised to see that this product was hazardous. It contains phenoxyethanol and methylisothiazolinone. Methylisothiazolinone is a preservative that was used as a replacement for parabens after studies suggested that they were harmful to human health.
This compound is highly allergenic and severely irritating to the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. For this reason, its use has been banned from leave-on products in the European Union, Australia, and Canada, and limited to a maximum concentration of 0.0015% in rinse-off products. In other countries, such as the USA, it can be found in a wide variety of products.
Several studies have also shown that it causes neurotoxicity in rats. It’s also toxic to aquatic life, according to many studies!
I’m surprised this is used in this product. I love this companies Aloe and a few other products but I’m disappointed in this one and it does Determine in a way to not buy anything from the company… But I haven’t decided on that yet however I wanted to let others know if you’re wanting to use all natural products on your skin. This one is a no go.

This scrub is amazing! It is moisturizing and also does a good job at lightly exfoliating! I will be buying this again! (I also recommend leaving it on for 15 minutes for extra moisture!)
